Skin Grafts

Clinically Proven Grafts, Priced for the New Reality

Eight size options. Room-temperature storage. Published clinical evidence. Acquisition costs that work at $127.14/cm².

The CMS rule change restructured skin substitute reimbursement overnight. At a flat $127.14 per square centimeter, the economics of wound care have fundamentally shifted — and the products priced for the old system no longer make sense for your practice.

Pare Wound Health offers two complementary placental allografts designed for this new landscape: completeFT and AmnioMax.

completeFT — Tiger BioSciences

Full-Thickness Placental Allograft

HCPCS Code: Q4271 | HCT/P under Section 361 PHS Act

completeFT is a dehydrated, full-thickness placental allograft that preserves the complete three-layer architecture of the placental membrane: amnion, intermediate/spongy layer, and chorion. Most competing products strip one or more layers during processing. completeFT preserves all three, maintaining the complete extracellular matrix (ECM) scaffold.

AmnioMax — Royal Biologics

Dual-Layer Amniotic Membrane

HCPCS Code: Q4239 | HCT/P under Section 361 PHS Act

AmnioMax is a dual-layered, dehydrated amniotic tissue membrane graft — chorion-free, derived from placental tissue. The dual-layer structure delivers twice the growth factor concentration compared to single-layer products.

2x Growth Factors

  • PDGF (Platelet-Derived)
  • TGF-beta (Transforming)
  • EGF (Epidermal)
  • VEGF (Vascular Endothelial)
  • FGF (Fibroblast)

Clinical Properties

  • Greater tensile strength
  • Improved shape manipulation
  • Slower resorption in vivo
  • Anti-bacterial properties
  • Anti-inflammatory, anti-scarring

The Size Advantage

Right-size to the wound. Reduce waste.

A 2 cm² wound treated with a 16 cm² graft wastes 87.5% of the product. Under flat-rate reimbursement, that waste comes directly out of your operating margin. Eight size options solve this.

Pricing

Priced for the New Math

Under the old ASP+6% model, the most expensive graft generated the highest reimbursement. That incentive is gone.

The new math is simple: CMS reimburses $127.14/cm² regardless of which product you use. Every dollar saved on acquisition cost is a dollar of margin preserved.

Pare Wound Health's grafts are priced for this reality — not priced for a reimbursement model that no longer exists.

We do not publish acquisition costs in marketing materials, but we will walk you through the product cost vs. CMS fee schedule comparison in a private consultation. The numbers speak clearly.

Both completeFT (Q4271) and AmnioMax (Q4239) are fully reimbursable under the 2026 CMS fee schedule at $127.14/cm².

CMS withdrew the restrictive Local Coverage Determinations (LCDs) that were scheduled to take effect in 2026. The payment policy is in effect. Coverage is active. These products are reimbursable.
